Worcestershire Royal Hospital nurse selected for prestigious committee

Heather Lloyd will join the British Thoracic Society’s Pleural procedure clinical statement group.
The group provides clinical staff from across the country with the opportunity to champion excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of people with lung disease, whilst also influencing policy and practice to improve services offered across the UK.
On her recent appointment Heather said: “My position here at Worcestershire Royal Hospital is an advanced respiratory nurse practitioner, specialising in pleural disease management. Being able to contribute to the formulation of potential national guidance in my speciality is very exciting.”
“I feel very proud to have been invited to join as the only nurse member in a group of clinical experts within this field. I am very excited to be a part of this process which I feel marks the pinnacle of my career so far.” ....
