A new mental health awareness training program specifically for farmers will soon be available to rural and agricultural communities across Ontario.
In the Know is a mental health literacy program developed at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph created specifically to educate the agricultural community. With support from the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA), several Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) branches in Ontario will begin facilitating this half-day training, some within just a few weeks. Trainings will be delivered online until public health measures allow for in-person delivery. ....

Youth relationship program for Sarnia-Lambton teens goes virtual

A long-running educational program that provides high school-aged youth with information, advice and awareness about healthy relationships, red flags as well as preventative measures and resources to combat domestic abuse, is moving online during the pandemic.
Beginning Feb. 24 and running for 10 consecutive Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m., the Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia-Lambton’s Virtual Youth Relationship Program will be offered for free to secondary school students across Lambton County.
