The sale of around 340 cattle recorded an exceptional clearance, with 96% of lots on offer finding new homes. Speaking after the sale, mart manager Sean Ryan said: “Heavier cattle are certainly getting scarce and this is helping to keep prices up €100 a head on the same time last year.
