Kati Ilvese sõnul on sihtasutuse Tartu 2024 ja partnerite koostöös elluviidav Euroopa kultuuripealinn Eesti 2024. aasta tippsündmus. Minu suurim väljakutse uues rollis on Tartu 2024 kunstilise visiooni edasi arendamine ja ellu viimine, nii et kogu valmiv programm pakuks elamusi paljude erinevate huvidega eestimaalastele ja külalistele Euroopast, kinnitas Ilves. Themes such as family, sexuality, the body, death and the unconscious required intense therapy, which she consciously carried out through her art. In her sculptures, textiles, books, drawings and architectural installations, Louise Bourgeois expressed the tension between opposing forces - male / female, passive / active, architecture / body, love / hate - using formal and symbolic equivalents.
