Rentable ghost kitchen space is coming to Sioux Falls this year, offering the latest in culinary flexibility to caterers, restaurants, startups and food trucks.
The ghost kitchen, which is a space for preparing food without spots for customers to come in and dine, will be at 6221 S. Western Ave. in the Wedge strip mall alongside Josephine s and Breadico. Such spaces are low-cost ways to test out new recipes, start a new business or handle overflow orders.
After the pandemic forced many restaurants to save wherever they could, the space offers a bare-bones chance to try new things or to cut down work, like trying to hire more staff.
