Evictionism
Hi Walter,
Huge fan. I’ve embraced the evictionism philosophy and share it’s libertarian merits with both left and right zealots across the prolife/prochoice divide.
Just read your open letter to Georgia libertarians. I currently live in GA. I voted for Shane. I also would have voted for a Libertarian Presidential candidate over Trump if we had one worth voting for which we haven’t had since Badnarik. I honestly don’t remember if I even voted for a presidential candidate in 2008 or 2012.
Anyway, I wanted to say that implying that those of us who voted for Shane owe everyone a moral debt to support Perdue and Loeffler. In the great words of our fake pres-elect, “come on, man!” I don’t think implying an obligation to vote a certain way or even to vote at all is going to resonate with many thick libertarians. The argument sounds too much like my mom convincing me to vote for Dole in 96 for which I had to close my eyes to do and still look back on with

Subject: A second Question
One more thing, sorry I bring all my questions to you, you always answer fastest and with the most sources haha. So I was thinking about federally enclosed land and whatnot, and how there is millions of square miles of “federally owned” land, or otherwise controlled by the US govt, where they are preventing people from going in and homesteading their own land. Is there a case to be made that the govt control of this land is significantly inflating land/property prices? And if so would you say the libertarian solution would be to 1. Sell off the land or 2. “free up” the land, allowing people to go in and homestead the property. The second option seems like the correct libertarian solution to me, and I think this whole thing gets overlooked when talking about poverty and capital accumulation under capitalism. I don’t see why there i
“How I wished during those sleepless hours that I belonged to a different nation, or better still, to none at all.” ~ Winfried Georg Sebald, “Vertigo” 1990 Why is it that mankind believes and practices the insanity of government and rule, and allows people they ‘believe’ to be like them to be their lord and master? Why do Americans that grew up believing in freedom think that they cannot survive unless they serve under a dominant tyrannical governing system? Is it that all men except those voluntarily chosen to hold political office are completely stupid, corrupt, and villainous, and cannot … Continue reading →
Science of Government Founded Upon Natural Law.
Dr. Emmanuel Josephson, an indefatigable researcher into the arcane hidden dimensions of American history, economics, and politics (and who was a particular favorite of economist/historian Murray N. Rothbard for his utilization of an early primitive version of power elite analysis, e. g., see “Only One Heartbeat Away” in the September 1974 edition of
The Libertarian Forum) republished this volume within his own book,
In 1948, the celebrated Dr. Josephson wrote
We are all familiar with the wonderful descriptive term, “the welfare-warfare state.” Ron Paul frequently uses it, as does Lew Rockwell, the late Justin Raimondo, Tom Woods, and myself. Murray N. Rothbard coined it in his brilliant essay, “The Great Society: A Libertarian Critique,” in Marvin E. Gettleman & David Mermelstein, ed.,
