Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 8 (ANI): With COVID-19 cases increasing in Jammu and Kashmir in the second wave of pandemic, Haj house in the city has been converted into a COVID care facility to accommodate patients.
The newly set up facility at Haj house has 100 beds out of which 72 beds have oxygen supply. The Haj house is also providing oxygen concentrators, mini ventilators and oximeters to COVID positive patients.
Zaid, a local, who was at the Haj house said they got help at the facility. ....

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 6 (ANI): Union Territory Administration and Chinar Corps of Indian Army has jointly made operational a 250-bed Covid care facility at Rangreth area of Jammu and Kashmir, said an official statement.
Equipped with a 20-bed state-of-the-art high-dependency unit and 230-bed post-critical care ward, the facility augments government medical health infrastructure significantly.
Reinforcing its commitment to the safety and healthcare of the Kashmiri Awaam (people), Kashmir UT Administration and Chinar Corps of Indian Army, today jointly operationalised the 250-bed Dedicated Covid Health Care Centre at Rangreth, the statement said on Wednesday. ....

SRINAGAR: The Army and civil administration in Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday jointly made operational a 250-bed Covid care facility at Rangreth here, a defence spokesman said.
Equipped with a 20-bed state-of-the-art high-dependency unit and 230-bed post-critical care ward, the facility augments government medical health infrastructure significantly, he said.
“Reinforcing its commitment to the safety and healthcare of the Kashmiri Awaam, Kashmir UT Administration and Chinar Corps of Indian Army, today jointly operationalised the 250-bed Dedicated Covid Health Care Centre at Rangreth,” the spokesman said.
He said government and Army resources were mobilised to operationalise the facility in a short timeframe to respond to the Covid surge in Srinagar and adjoining districts. ....

Shopian (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], March 16 (ANI): Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter which started on Saturday evening, the Indian Army informed on Tuesday.
Op Rawalpora, Shopian. #Update. Of two terrorists eliminated, 1st terrorist was 27 years old, Class 12th student resident of Rawalpora, Shopian. 2nd terrorist was a 24-year-old, Class 10th student resident of Narapora, Shopian. They had joined terrorist organisations on September 10, 2018 and September 1, 2020 respectively, Chinar Corps of Indian Army tweeted.
Out of the two terrorists, one was eliminated on March 14 and the other was killed on March 15. ....
