The organization’s announcement comes off the heels of a successful winter season, during which volunteers operated several warming spaces across the city aimed at keeping those experiencing homelessness safe, out of the cold and comfortable with warm food. While the spaces were run out of the First Presbyterian and First Baptist Churches – aided by several other local churches and stakeholders – certain contracts have expired and the organization is now engaging its patrons outdoors until a new indoor location can be found. ....
