All Oldies Radio plans Herts, Beds & Bucks DAB launch
All Oldies Radio is planning to launch on DAB digital radio in Herts, Beds & Bucks in September 2021.
Director Russ Dee said today “We have been keen to move AOR onto DAB for some time, now the time is perfect.
“We are bringing local radio back to Herts, Beds & Bucks. It is radio that our 40+ demographic grew up with and so dearly miss. We have already proven that our unique Classic Hits music format is a winner and now it is time to bring the local flavour with it. From local news to traffic and travel, all that is missing is the eye in the sky! ....

Rob Charles to host All Oldies Radio breakfast

Broadcaster Rob Charles is taking over the breakfast show at online station All Oldies Radio.
Rob Charles has been providing his syndicated “Songs That Don’t Get Played On The Radio Anymore” for the past few months at the station.
Rob said: “I so love All Oldies Radio. The music library is massive and I’ll be taking full advantage of it as I’m honoured to start waking up the UK, 7am Weekdays from the 1st of February.”
Director Russ Dee says the station will be joining DAB this year and has provided a station update for us.
He said: “When Rob said yes to All Oldies Radio, it reconfirmed that we had something special that outstanding broadcasters want to be a part of. ....

Paul McKenna says seeing 'immense cruelty' at Catholic school gave him a 'taste for compassion'

Paul McKenna has claimed witnessing immense cruelty while attending a Catholic school gave him a taste for compassion and helped him develop his mind manipulation skills.
The hypnotist, 57, from Hackney, east London, told how while he had a happy childhood thanks to his supportive, kind and optimistic parents, he was miserable during his time spent at Jesuit-run St Ignatius College in Enfield.
He described his stint at the Catholic voluntary aided secondary school - for boys aged 11–18 - as a very unhappy experience , calling it a relentless, brainwashing process which instilled guilt .
Paul added that he became a very rebellious teenager as a result and hung around with the tough guys - though he was the brains of the outfit. ....
