KUALA LUMPUR: Several areas in Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang will experience a temporary water supply disruption, scheduled for two days starting Jan 12. Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) in a statement today said this was to facilitate work to transfer and connect new pipes near Persiaran Selangor Section 15, Shah Alam, which started at 9 am. “A total of 22 areas in Shah Alam, four areas in Klang and 10 areas in Petaling are expected to experience the scheduled water supply disruption. “Water supply will gradually resume from 9am on Jan 14,” it said. ....
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 30): The burst pipe repair works in Damansara Utama which started from 12.30am was 67% completed as of 8pm tonight. Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) Corporate Communications head Elina Baseri said the repair works to the pipe that was damaged due to a landslide in the area was running smoothly, according to schedule. “Air Selangor is working to ensure that repair works can be expedited,” she said in a statement today. The pipe repair works had caused water supply disruption at 43 locations in Petaling and 20 locations in Kuala Lumpur. She advised consumers to get alternative water supply assistance through water tankers mobilised to the affected areas or through static water tanks placed at two local service centres provided in compliance with the regulations. ....
