ILOILO CITY, Jan. 8 (PIA) - - The Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 reminded its personnel to be extra vigilant after receiving information that Kilusang Rehiyon-Panay (KR-Panay) is planning to conduct atrocities targeting PNP camp or station, vital installations and identified uniformed personnel at any opportune time.
There are reports that the planned retaliation is to avenge their comrades who died in police operation after putting up a fight against the police officers who simultaneously served the search warrants on December 30, 2020.
“The CPP-NPA will not let it pass. The police operation will affect their entire organization since majority of the neutralized are their strong supporters,” said PRO 6 Police Brigadier General Rolando Miranda in an agency’s press report. ....
