A Syrian air force helicopter dropped a chlorine bomb on an opposition-held town on 4 February 2018, the chemical weapons watchdog has concluded.

There was no immediate response from the Syrian government or military.
However, they have previously denied allegations that government forces used chlorine or the nerve agent Sarin during Syria s decade-long civil war.
The conflict has left at least 380,000 people dead and caused half the population to flee their homes, including almost six million refugees abroad. ....

OPCW Condemns Syria's Repeated Use of Chemical Weapons | U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Russia

MEDIA NOTE
APRIL 22, 2021
On April 21, 2021 in The Hague, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Conference of the State Parties adopted a historic decision in response to the Assad regime’s continued use and possession of chemical weapons in violation of its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and its failure to complete the measures set out in the OPCW Executive Council’s July 2020 decision.
This decision fulfills the recommendation made by the Executive Council in response to the April 2020 findings of the OPCW’s Investigation and Identification Team (IIT), which identified that the Syrian Arab Air Force was responsible for three chemical weapons attacks involving sarin and chlorine in March 2017 in the northern Syrian town of Ltamenah.  The IIT has since issued an additional report of Syria’s use of chemical weapons in a separate instance, which adds to a robust body of evidence by other international investigat ....

Russia's MiG-25 Foxbat: The World-Beater That Wasn't

Russia s MiG-25 Foxbat: The World-Beater That Wasn t
Deficiencies in design, manufacturing problems, and the disappearance of key aspects of its mission meant that it could not seriously compete on quality with the best fighters of the age, or on costs with models such as the MiG-21.
Here s What You Need To Remember: Designed to shoot down a bomber that never existed, the bugbear of the MiG-25 helped spur development of one of the finest fighters to ever fly. It would provide a template for the MiG-31, which remains in service today with the Russian Air Force, and which will continue to fly for the foreseeable future. ....
