This spring s Modern Art + Design includes several exciting collections. The most prominent is the cultural personality and GAN connoisseur Jan Torsten Ahlstrands, with more than 50 works, including an early neoplastic work by Erik Olson, Fiskarna vid Seine , 1928 and a significant painting from 1920 by GAN, Eiffeltornet , made in Paris. A little less extensive is A collection of Danish surrealists , including about 20 early works by, among others, Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen, Wilhelm Freddie and Elsa Thoresen, rarely seen at auction.

Behind the works is a person who, through his passion and knowledge of the objects, gives it another dimension and context that moves on to the new owner. .-The Chrysler Museum of Art is showcasing approximately 50 objects from its extensive collection of glass in the exhibition Clear As Crystal: Colorless Glass from the Chrysler Museum, on view Dec. 26, 2020July 3, 2021. All of the artworks in the show are made exclusively with colorless glass, and historical objects are being displayed alongside contemporary artworks.
