The North Carolina track and field teams will head to Clemson University on Thursday, Feb. 25 to compete in the 2021 ACC Indoor Championships, with the men's team looking to win its first title since 1996, and the women's team looking for its first since 2004.
This past Friday and Saturday, the North Carolina track and field teams competed at the Tiger Paw Invitational and the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational at Clemson University and Liberty University, respectively.
The programme offers help to those struggling with their mental wellbeing A new programme to help people struggling with their mental wellbeing due to the coronavirus pandemic will launch its first online session next week. A Slice of Happiness, working on behalf of the Watford & Three Rivers Trust (W3RT) which has been playing a key role in the area’s response to the pandemic, will start its first ‘Wellbeing Spa’ on Thursday for people who are experiencing emotions such as anxiety, stress, depression or grief. The six-week long programme is the first of its type in a community setting in the UK and is funded by the National Health Service.
With a strong incoming group of first-years and some key returners, the UNC women's and men's track and field teams are primed for further improvements in 2021.
