A Volusia deputy shot and injured a person in DeBary during an incident Thursday night after the person shot at deputies first, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood detailed a deputy-involved shooting Friday afternoon where a deputy shot a man who had threatened to get into a shootout with deputies responding to a domestic violence call.
