According to the indictment, the two board members paid the FEDRO employee to change the data used to calculate CO2 sanctions so that their company was not required to pay any sanctions for more than three years. As a result, the Confederation has incurred a loss of around CHF 9 million.

DHAKA, Feb 18, 2021 (BSS) – Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said the government will bring easy-bike and other three-wheelers and auto-rickshaws under the purview of registration in an effort to ensure road safety and check road accidents throughout the country.
The minister said this while addressing as chair the 28th meeting of the national road safety council at Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) head office joining through a video conference from his official residence here.
Quader, also general secretary of the ruling Awami League, said, “To this end, a sub-committee has been formed to find out a strategy after reviewing the recommendations submitted earlier by a Road Transport Division committee.”
