Curative, which has partnered with Bell County to give COVID-19 vaccinations, is opening a clinic in Temple starting Tuesday. The new clinic is set to be located in Temple at Vista Community Church, 7051 Stonehollow Drive, and will be open from Tuesday through Thursday. Similar to the Curative clinic in Killeen opened last week, at Leo Buckley Stadium 500 N. 38th St., the Temple location will offer 1,500 vaccination appointments each week. The clinicâs operating hours are from 8 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Wednesday appointments ranging from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. County Judge David Blackburn said the county is currently seeing many appointments open up and the county and Curative are working together to make sure whoever wants the vaccine can get it. ....
Starting next week, Curative will host the countyâs first walk-in clinic for COVID-19 vaccinations. Bell County officials announced Thursday that Curative, a county partner for the vaccines, will offer walk-in appointments in Killeen at Leo Buckley Stadium, 500 N. 38th St. In addition to the new walk-in clinic, Curative is set to open a second vaccination location in Temple offering 1,500 appointments a week. The second Curative site will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and on 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays at Vista Community Church in Temple, 7051 Stonehollow Drive. While Curative opens a new site, Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights announced that it will not make any additional appointments after April 30. ....
Baylor Scott & White announced that it will expand its Virtual Health Pilot Program to Salado High â a program that was created in the fall to facilitate communication between parents, school nurses and physicians. The Virtual Health Pilot Program, which is intended for ânon-emergentâ needs and requires parents to register their children, was previously implemented at Thomas Arnold Elementary and Salado Middle School. School districts in Bell County are making plans for in-person graduation ceremonies â festivities that largely span the Bell County Expo Center, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and other venues. Temple Independent School District spokesman Christian Hernandez told the Telegram that Temple High seniors will don their cap and gowns on May 12 at the Bell County Expo Center, 301 W. Loop 121 in Belton. The in-person graduation is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. âEach graduate will receive six tickets to distribute to friends or family, and all are required to wear masks,â Hernandez said. Killeen ISD Killeen ISD has five senior bodies graduating in late May: Early College High, 2 p.m. on May 27; Killeen High, 6 p.m. on May 27; C.E.
