CHARLOTTE, N.C. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Detectives say the victim in the east Charlotte homicide has been identified as 25-year-old Abdulkhaleq Juhaish.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Detectives say they are investigating a homicide in east Charlotte after finding one victim dead at the scene on Friday.
Officers say they responded to a call for service before 8 p.m. on February 19th on Waterford Ridge Drive to find a victim unresponsive inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
Police say anyone with more information is asked to call 704-432-TIPS to speak directly with a Homicide Unit detective or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.

CMPD: Detectives Investigate A 3-Vehicle Collision With A CATS Bus In North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Detectives say they are investigating a crash that occurred between two vehicles and a CATS bus in north Charlotte on Friday.
Officers say they responded to the crash on February 5th around 7 a.m. on West Sugar Creek Road, where they located a CATS Special Transportation Services bus, a Toyota 4-Runner, and a Nissan Quest, all involved in the collision.
Detectives say the driver of the Toyota, one passenger in the CATS bus, and all the occupants of the Nissan were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
