A DORSET pub is the toast of the country after being singled out for a prestigious national award. The Square & Compass in Worth Matravers is one of 32 pubs in the country to have been given a Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Golden Award, out of more than 240 entrants. CAMRA is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year as, as part of its celebrations, the organisation is recognising people, groups of people or businesses that have made a significant contribution to CAMRA s aims. The Square & Compass, owned by Charlie Newman, is one of just five pubs that have appeared in every edition of CAMRA s Good Beer Guide since its conception in 1973. ....

Volpe. The case involved the proposed construction of Interstate 40 through Overton Park, a 342 acre old forest and public park in the center of midtown Memphis. In 1956, Congress had passed the National Interstate Highway Act, the largest public works project in American history, authorizing $26 billion for the construction of 41,000 miles of a national highway system. ....
