Western United’s new signing Charlie Emery is quickly learning what it’s like to be part of a professional environment.
Emery, a goalkeeper, was promoted to the A-League squad following Filip Kurto’s concussion in United’s 1-0 loss to Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday.
United Goalkeeper Coach Frank Juric helped scout the Werribee product for the Club’s NPL senior team, believing he’s a talent for the future.
“He’s a young kid that we scouted, he came into the youth team - he’s a huge talent,” Juric said.
“He’s been training with the senior team for the last six weeks and hopefully he’s one for the future.
