A man screamed and yelled at police, “this is bulls -, all she has to do is feed me and then I am fine”, before leading officers on a foot chase that led to his arrest.
Benjamin Henry Robertson pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on May 10 to one count each of commit public nuisance and obstruct police officer.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Shaun Janes said police attended an address in Berserker in relation to an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at 5.15pm on October 13, 2020.
Mr Janes said Robertson began screaming and yelling loudly at police.
He said police told Robertson to lower his volume and advised him he would be transported to hospital.

One of many people caught illegally camping at the Shoalwater Bay military training area during Covid restrictions, has faced court.
Nathan William Michael Groves, 19, pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court last Thursday to trespassing on Commonwealth land.
The court heard that in May last year, police were conducting patrols of Byfield National Park when they came across numerous people illegally camping.
There were signs in the area to warn people that it was Commonwealth land and that trespassers would be prosecuted.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Shaun Janes said police saw 14 vehicles parked at the northern end of Five Rocks beach and numerous people were camping illegally inside the military training area.

Kerrod Neil Ferguson, 54, pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on May 10 to one count each of possessing utensils or pipes that had been used, unlawful possession of restricted drugs and unlawful possession of weapons (category M). Police prosecutor Sergeant Shaun Janes said police executed a search warrant at an address in Gracemere on April 1 in relation to dangerous drugs. Sergeant Janes said when police entered the home, they saw Ferguson in the lounge room smoking an unknown substance out of a glass pipe.

Subscriber only A friend has been blamed for altering a prescription produced by a man at a Rockhampton pharmacy for a quantity of endone tablets larger than what was originally prescribed. Peter Shane Foreman pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on May 10 to one count of attempting to obtain a controlled drug with an altered prescription. Police prosecutor Sergeant Shaun Janes said Foreman attended the emergency department of Rockhampton Hospital on the morning of February 2 and received a prescription for endone tablets, which contained the controlled drug oxycodone. Sergeant Janes said Foreman then attended a Rockhampton pharmacy at 10.50am, where he presented a prescription for the tablets.
