St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM MN news) - Four State Troopers assigned to the State Patrol District Headquarters in Rochester have been honored with Life Saving Awards.
Sergeant Eric Bormann, along with Troopers Garrett Bondhus, and Patrick Beuning were honored for their actions following a traffic crash that occurred last June 23. The State Patrol says Sergeant Bormann rushed to the scene after witnessing a collision involving a semi-truck and another vehicle. The driver ended up pinned beneath the vehicle and Bormann, along with Troopers Bondhus and Beuning managed to extricate the critically injured driver and begin performing lifesaving measures.
