But now they are planning a funeral for the mother and her unborn child. Both were killed in what Fayetteville, North Carolina, police say was a murder-suicide Sunday, just days before Christmas. Just after 7 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Willow Street. When they arrived, they found Lewis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. Her husband, Army Staff Sgt. Keith Lewis, 31, died at the scene from what was apparently a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. Their 3-year-old daughter, Callie, was not injured, according to police. Sgt. Jeremy Glass, a spokesman with the Fayetteville Police Department, said officers were called to the couple’s home back in 2016 for a domestic disturbance. ....
