Children s Swimming Lessons with Selkie starting soon 07757727782 Event Description Selkie Swim School are delighted to be able to run a short 6 week course of COVID secure swimming lessons starting on 19th April 2021. Spring is a fantastic time to start swimming with the lighter evenings and warmer weather and we know lots of children have missed their weekly swimming dips recently. These swimming lessons are suitable for children aged over 5 years old, who CAN swim a little, are able to change independently and are confident without an Instructor in the water. It’s a drop off and pick up scenario. Parents are dropping children up (ideally ‘ready to swim’ in loose fitting clothing) and collecting 40 minutes later. We have listed all the COVID measures on our website for reassurance. ....
Norwegian Cruise Line Crew Arrive Back in the Philippines Photo Courtesy: The Department of Foreign Affairs Norwegian Cruise Line has repatriated 879 Filipino Seafarers flown into the ships in December of last year in anticipation of the restart of cruises. It has been an operation that has cost Norwegian Cruise Line millions of USD a month since December. Seafarers Flown Home from Aruba The sailors all flew back to Manila after disembarking the Norwegian Joy in Aruba, in the Dutch Caribbean. The seafarers landed in Manila International Airport in two separate groups. According to a Department of Foreign Affairs press release, 586 Filipino seafarers arrived from Aruba on March 6. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings arranged two chartered flights for the first repatriation group. The second group of crew members arrived on March 8, said DFA Undersecretary Sarah Lou Y. Arriola. ....

DFA Undersecretary Sarah Lou Y. Arriola, in a televised press briefing on Wednesday, said a number of Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have backpedalled on their plan to return home with the renewed confidence on economic opportunities abroad. Overseas Workers Welfare Administration’s (OWWA) Hans Leo J. Cacdac earlier said around 80,000 OFWs planned to return to the Philippines in the first half of 2021. “We noticed that many OFWs are backing out (of the repatriation program), especially in Middle East, because mass vaccination programs are now implemented in their host countries,” said Ms. Arriola. “We ....
