• Lima hospitals established a Community Call Center at 419-226-9000. Residents are urged to call that number before visiting a health care provider or an emergency room. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
• Call the Ohio Department of Health’s public COVID-19 hotline: 833-4-ASK-ODH. The hotline will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend wearing face coverings in public settings while using social distancing measures. Simple cloth face coverings slow the spread of the virus. Linda Edwards, a resident of the Sarah Jane Living Center in Delphos, received a Balloon Buddy from Celebrations in Delphos. Celebrations has kicked off the Adopt A Grandparent program where you can help sponsor Balloon Buddies for nursing home residents.

DELPHOS The COVID-19 pandemic has been tough on senior citizens in area nursing homes. Many of them face isolation from their families due to health guidelines.
Celebrations, a business in Delphos, is helping to bring a little joy into their lives through the Adopt A Grandparent campaign, which is a nationwide effort. ....
