Akwa United were unable to secure a second league victory after being pegged to a 1-1 draw by visiting Wikki Tourists at the Nest of Champions in Uyo.
The Match Day 5 clash of the ongoing 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League saw in-form Ndifreke Effiong opening the scoring for the home side in the 25th minute after benefiting from a poor clearance by the opposing goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali to pass the ball into an unguarded post for the opener.
