11 May This morning, at 9:45 a.m., the Stockton Police Telecommunications Center received a call of a disturbance in the 4400 block of La Cresta Way. The caller reported hearing screaming, saw a woman with a ripped shirt who was bleeding, and appeared to have been assaulted. Stockton Police Officer Jimmy Inn was dispatched to the call and arrived on scene at 10:07 a.m. Shortly after arriving on scene, Officer Inn knocked on the security door and stood off to the side. ....

STOCKTON (CBS13) A Stockton police officer is dead after being shot Tuesday while responding to a domestic violence call.
Stockton police confirm that 30-year-old Officer Jimmy Inn was shot late Tuesday morning while responding to a domestic violence call.
Around 9:45 a.m. the Stockton Dispatch Center received a call of a disturbance in the 4400 block of La Cresta Way in North Stockton.
The caller reported hearing screaming and saw a woman with a ripped shirt who was bleeding and appeared to have been assaulted. ....

Missing Manteca woman is Tracy homicide victim
The body of a woman discovered in an aqueduct near Chrisman Road in Tracy on Monday has been identified as that of Chenin Carlson – the 36-year-old Manteca mother of two that turned up missing over the weekend when she did not report to a new job in Tracy.
The announcement of the identification of the body was made Wednesday afternoon by the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office and came less than a day after the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at Carlson’s home to gather any and all evidence that may point investigators towards what happened to her. ....

Man charged in connection with the deaths of Lodi grandparents


A man appeared in a San Joaquin County courtroom on Wednesday to face two counts of homicide in connection with the deaths of a Lodi couple.
Christopher Lee Holland, 53, of Lodi was already in custody on a parole violation at the time he was charged in the deaths of 77-year-old James Reiswig and 76-year-old Mary Reiswig. According to the San Joaquin County Jail website, he was booked on Dec. 18, a day after the couple was found dead.
Holland is charged with two counts of felony murder, two counts of first-degree robbery and firearms charges. He is being held without bail, and is due in court again at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 28. ....

Couple in suspected homicide identified


The two people found dead in a West Kingdon Road home last week were identified by authorities Monday.
The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the couple as James and Mary Reiswig, 77 and 76, respectively.
Last Thursday at about 8 a.m., the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a person who entered their grandparents’ home on the 5000 block of West Kingdon Road and found two people unresponsive.
The Sheriff’s Office was investigating the incident as a homicide, and had dispatched multiple teams of deputies to various locations in the county in search of a possible suspect or suspects. ....
