The Santa Cruz Surfing Museum is celebrating 35 years of history by inducting four historic boards to their collection on Saturday. The boards all having ties to the Santa Cruz area. The Fred Hunt board was built in the 1930s by Hunt himself. Hunt was a San Deigo-born dedicated surfer in the Santa Cruz Surfing Club. Club members found the board in Nevada, with the donation of the Hunt family. Bus Simulator is back again to strangely fascinate us and haunt our dreams. Though the series have been running for quite a while on PC, the Bus Simulator released in 2019 must have been something of a success, because the new version is A) getting made, and B) launching directly to consoles.
Bus Simulator 21 must be seriously stepping up its game, because it has officially licensed Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses for the first time. Check out the Benz-specific trailer below:
That s the first time that I ve looked at a digital representation of a bus and thought You know, that bus is kinda sexy. I do think the seats could be a little cushier though. Those seats look like some straight airport terminal-style plastic.

As I’m writing this, winter is finally receding. I’m talking about Chicago winter, not that imposter they call winter down south. A few days ago I went outside for the first time in months without having to spend 10 minutes struggling into my snow boots and cold weather gear.
It’s hard to explain to people not used to this kind of weather what a schlep even a short drive to the supermarket can be. Any kind of mishap, like a flat tyre for instance, can turn life threatening in minutes. Unless you’re all togged out in a parka, hat, mittens, insulated boots, etc, you are definitely a candidate for hypothermia or frostbite. And then, when you get home, everything has to come off again. A tedious little ritual that repeats itself every time you leave the house. The Apple Wallet on iPhone has been gaining support for adding specific transit cards from within the app. These cards can be used with the Express Transit mode and can be reloaded with Apple Pay.
The latest card to be added is the Clipper Card. It is the San Fransisco Bay Area transit card of choice and can be used with all 24 transit agencies in the area.
San Fransisco is also one of the cities with advanced transit directions, so users can find real-time schedules for a bus, train, or ferry compatible with the Clipper Card. Just hold the iPhone or Apple Watch near a Clipper reader, and you re done.
