Safety protocols
Holiday World officials are still examining the Centers for Disease Control’s newly relaxed guidelines for mask usage among those with COVID-19 vaccinations. The latest CDC statements came Thursday, and “we found out the same time as everyone else,” Jones said.
For now, Holiday World will still require guests to wear masks at the front gate and at indoor facilities (except while eating and drinking).
Guests can shed masks elsewhere in the park, although distancing is encouraged in lines and other crowded environments “so everyone feels comfortable and safe for their visit,” Jones said.
What’s new?
Since the park was closed for part of 2020 and somewhat limited when it did open, some recent additions will seem new to guests visiting this year.

HYDERABAD: A host of online experiences promise to light up the upcoming holiday season despite news of lockdowns across other countries. 2020’s holiday season is a bit different though, with staying at home, but that shouldn’t put a stop to the season’s fervor and gusto.
As technology has evolved over the years, so have our options of interacting with Santa.
Years ago the only ways to communicate with St. Nicholas were to either drop him a hand-written letter at the North Pole or go see him in person when he came to a store near us.
Those snail mail letters have now given way to e-mails and getting Santa on the telephone is now available as well.
But leave it to 2020 to take it to a whole new level.
Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of us get very familiar with Zoom calls as a part of our daily work life and now Santa is going virtual.
