Santa visiting Wellsville Saturday for Hometown Holidays Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce Hometown Holidays Staff reports WELLSVILLE The Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce Hometown Holidays are kicking into high gear as Christmas approaches. Santa Drive Thru A Santa Drive Thru event is set for Saturday, Dec. 19. Kris Kringle is making a special visit to Wellsville so little ones can drop off their letters to Santa. Come see him at the Community Bank drive-thru (113 N Main St, Wellsville) on Saturday from 12-2 p.m. Drive in one of the drive thru lanes, drop your letter off in the canister, send it up the chute and Santa will send back a little gift/treat to take home. After this, he will get on the firetruck to make his way around town to wave hello and throw out candy. ....
Written by Wilton Parks & Rec Holiday Celebration with Santa Drive-Thru at Comstock Community Center on Friday, December 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend. Families are encouraged to wear costumes (not required) and decorate their vehicles. Families will drive through Comstock Community Center’s main entrance loop. There will be decorations, music, candy canes and more. Santa will oversee the event and wave to children from the big red chair! Participating families will stay in their vehicles. Parks and Recreation coordinated with the Wilton Health Department to adopt proper health and safety protocols, including Parks and Recreation staff handing out candy canes in a socially distanced fashion. ....

The event featured Santa and Mrs. Claus, festive decor and festively costumed characters and more. This event replaced the annual Breakfast with Santa due to COVID-19 restrictions. Donations benefited the schools’ bands. Special thanks to the Daughertys for helping make it happen.
