The negligence came to light after civic activists took photographic evidence of the work in progress over the last three days and submitted a complaint to municipal commissioner Rajesh Patil and district collector Rajesh Deshmukh. The pictures show the staff cleaning nullahs manually, without gloves, boots and masks.
