Maldon: Vaccine data reveals latest figures for May 2 | Maldon and Burnham Standard

A THIRD of people in Maldon have now received two doses of a Covid vaccine, figures reveal.
NHS data shows 18,308 people had received both jabs by May 2, a figure of 34 per cent of those aged 16 and over, based on the latest population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
Of those to have received both jabs, 16,876 were aged 45 and over – 47 per cent of the age group.
It means 1,432 people aged between 16 to 44 have received both doses.
Across Maldon, 73 per cent of those aged 16 and over have had one jab.
Areas with the highest coverage:
• Great Totham, Wickham Bishops & Woodham, with 77.8 per cent ....

A THIRD of people in Maldon have now received two doses of a Covid vaccine, figures reveal.

NEW data has revealed the rate of resident in Mid and North Essex diagnosed with depression ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Analysis of NHS estimates by the House of Commons Library shows the average rate of adult GP patients across England being diagnosed with depression in 2019-20 was 11.5 per cent.
In Essex, the rates were 12.1 per cent in Colchester, 11.2 per cent in Tendring, 11 per cent in Braintree, nine per cent in Chelmsford, and 8.6 per cent in Maldon.
Out of Colchester s 20 areas, it was higher in Monkwick where 15.9 per cent were depressed and lower in areas such as Wivenhoe and University where 8.2 per cent of patients were depressed. ....
