Commissioners Look to Receive Cares Act Funds By Rick Loy - Staff Writer | Mar 3, 2021 The County Commissioners met Feb. 23, 2021 at the Commission Office in New Martinsville. Commission President Lisa Heasley called the meeting to order following the Pledge of Allegiance. All Commissioners were present to conduct business on a light agenda. First order of business was the approval by unanimous vote to accept the minutes from the previous session held February 16. The next item on the agenda was a telephone call from Clayton Fitzsimmons of Fitzsimmons Law Office inquiring if Wetzel County Commission had applied and received all the Care Act Funds they are entitled to. ....
