WEST ASHLEY , S.C. (WCSC) - A portion of Savannah Highway has been closed following an auto-pedestrian collision in West Ashley Thursday night.
Charleston police say the southbound lanes are closed between Ashley Town Center and Savage Road.
The incident happened at 9:15 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Charleston Police says northbound traffic on Savannah Highway is being diverted back southbound due to a collision involving a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at 2545 Savannah Highway.
Authorities say the initial call was received by dispatch at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday night.
According to authorities, the pedestrian has been taken to a local hospital for treatment and their injuries are believed to be non-fatal.
