The tremor was recorded in the evening on Sunday 14 February 2021 at 9:37 pm local time, at a moderately shallow depth of 22 miles below the surface. The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it. Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.6 as well.
