The Marble Falls High School theater program had a near record-breaking number of performance and tech students qualify for nationals with 21 overall, the department announced via Facebook Wednesday, Dec. 16.
Qualifications took place during the virtual Texas Thespians State Festival, which ended Dec. 5. The students now advance to the International Thespian Festival, a virtual competition held June 22-25, 2021. ....

Texas High School Tiger Theatre Company Troupe 2526 participated in the recent Virtual Texas Thespian Festival, with three students earning top ratings.
Jeremy Creek and Maddie Frost received Superior Ratings in Solo Musical Theatre. Beth Dietze received a Superior Rating in Costume Design. All are now qualified to compete at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, NE during June 2021.
The Texas Thespian Festival is a state-wide festival, open to any active Texas Thespian Troupe. Considered one of the biggest theatre festivals in the United States, the Texas Thespian Festival has over 7,000 students attend for three full days of educational theatre workshops, performances, auditions and professional guest instructors. Great news for the Texas High School Tiger Theatre Company Troupe 2526. They recently participated in the Virtual Texas Thespian Festival, with three students earning top ratings.

Joe runs the business from his small workshop at his home. He creates one-of-a-kind creations, like pens and wine stoppers, out of wood, acrylic, and various other materials. He enjoys thinking outside the box and using unusual items in his work. He has incorporated items like popcorn, Froot Loops, pasta, pinecones, lock parts, flower petals and more into unique products.
Joe is a graduate of Bolingbrook High School, was honored by Mayor Claar and the Village Trustees as an Eagle Scout, and has done volunteer, as well as mission work, as a member of Friendship United Methodist Church of Bolingbrook. He also worked at Home Depot in Bolingbrook and was attending Joliet Junior College to pursue a degree in Scenic Design. His dream is to one day design, build and create sets for theater productions. He has excelled at this through his days at Brooks Middle School as well as at BHS. He was even selected as best of the best in Illinois and traveled to participate in the A ....
