MANAMA Members of the disaster response teams of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS), attended the 10th workshop on risks and crises to discuss updating the national matrix and establishing joint coordination mechanisms. The workshop was organized remotely by the National Committee for Disaster Response.
During the workshop, Bahrain Red Crescent’s volunteers learned about the active and pivotal role of the National Committee in facing disasters, the role of the media in crises and disasters, the national emergency plan to combat oil pollution, and how to analyze and evaluate the risks that lead to or resulting from disasters. ....
