An illegal alien has been sentenced to five years in prison for killing a 24-year-old man in a drunk driving car crash in the sanctuary state of New Jersey.
Jesus Leal-Corona, a 49-year-old illegal alien, pleaded guilty in 2020 to second-degree vehicular homicide, two counts of third-degree vehicular assault, and drunk driving after hitting and killing 24-year-old Frankie Hensley of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in September 2019.
Leal-Corona, who had been living in Monroeville, New Jersey, admitted to police that he was drunk driving when he hit Hensley. At the time of the crash, Hensley was the passenger in a vehicle involved in a separate crash when he got out of the vehicle. ....

A local non-profit that rescues abused and neglected farm animals is inviting the community to meet their animal friends.
The Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary in Arroyo Grande held an open house Saturday to introduce their miniature horses, pigs, donkeys and other animals to community members.
The founder of the animal sanctuary said she hopes to share their animals stories of resilience and patience.
They come to us they re really scared, and we rehabilitate them with lots of love and patience and medical care, and then we get to see their personalities blossom . It s really fun to see how we get to share that with the public, caretaker Diane Dieterich said. ....

A convicted illegal alien gang member has been arrested about five years after the sanctuary state of Colorado released him into American communities instead of turning him over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Enrique Guzman-Rincon, a 29-year-old illegal alien gang member, was arrested by ICE agents on April 9, roughly five years after the Colorado Department of Corrections released him into nearby communities after he was convicted of attempted reckless manslaughter in October 2017.
The Mexican national had been on ICEs Top 10 Most Wanted list. ....

Arkansas Senate Overrides Governor's Veto Of 2A Sanctuary Bill

Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s veto of a Second Amendment Sanctuary bill was handed down last Friday, but the governor may end up not getting his way on the bill. On Monday the Arkansas State Senate voted to override Hutchinson’s nixing of the Arkansas Sovereignty Act 2021, and now the bill heads back to the House for a final vote on the measure.
SB 298 originally passed the Senate by a vote of 28-7, and while the override vote was closer, 21 members of the state Senate still chose to buck the governor and his veto. The original vote in the House was an even more lopsided 76-18, and it’s likely that the votes are there to overturn Hutchinson’s veto of the legislation. ....

Sanctuary Country: Criminal Illegal Aliens in ICE Custody Cut by 70 Percent
President Joe Bidens sanctuary country orders have helped cut the number of convicted criminal illegal aliens in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody by 70 percent since 2019, the latest data reveals.
Data collected by the Transactional Research Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University shows that as of March 31, just 13,914 total illegal aliens were in ICE custody. For comparison, in May 2019, nearly 50,000 illegal aliens were in ICE custody a 72 percent drop.
Of the nearly 14,000 illegal aliens in ICE custody today, more than 5,100 are convicted criminals and 919 others have pending criminal charges against them. In May 2019, more than 17,500 convicted criminals were in ICE custody, as well as nearly 5,700 illegal aliens with pending criminal charges. ....
