Musings: Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday

This morning, I spilled half a box of breakfast cereal all over my kitchen floor. It was annoying to see it laying there and irritating that I wasn’t more careful about closing it correctly.
I got the broom and dust pan and cleaned it. The whole thing took less than five minutes from start to finish. I wasn’t planning to lose half a box of cereal. Who plans something like that? When it happened, I dealt with it. I didn’t spend weeks reading books titled, “How to Avoid Spilling A Box of Cereal on Your Kitchen Floor.”
