Black History Month events at Rutgers University were bombarded with anti-Black and anti-LGBTQ participants.
The university said it believed the Zoom bombing was part of an international effort. 
The campus chancellor said these may reoccur before the perpetrators are identified.  
Students at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, were told Friday the university was aware that virtual events held in honor of Black History Month were being targeted by bigoted individuals espousing anti-Black and anti-LGBTQ views.  ....

Rutgers University Black History Month events targeted by ‘racist and bigoted Zoom-bombings’: Chancellor

(NEW YORK)  Rutgers University officials have launched an investigation into a string of recent “racist and bigoted Zoom-bombings” that have marred student online events with most of the attacks targeting Black History Month programs, according to the school’s chancellor.
Chancellor Christopher Molloy wrote in a statement sent to students and staff on Friday that the most recent “Zoom bombings” have occurred during online events hosted by the university’s Paul Robeson Culture Center and the Center for Social Justice Education & LGBTQ Communities. ....

He was Black, queer, Christian and confused. Now he's breaking ground

While growing up in a tiny South Jersey town, Keywuan Caulk was fully aware of his sexual orientation at the age of 12 but buried those thoughts way down.
Caulk was a devout member of a Black Pentecostal church and his church life meant everything to him, so he stayed quiet and hid his sexual identity until he was 26.
The Penns Grove native is 34 now and since June has served as the director of the Rutgers Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities, the first Black queer male in that role.
Caulk took the reins at the Center, which was founded in 1992, less than a month after George Floyd died when a Minneapolis police officer restrained him by putting his knee on his neck, igniting protests around the globe. ....
