A Canadian couple who travelled to a remote village to receive the coronavirusvaccine meant for elderly Indigenous citizens may face jail sentences over an alleged breach of public health rules, it has emerged. 
Millionaire casino executive Rodney Baker and his wife Ekaterina Baker were criticised after they chartered a plane to the Canadian Yukon territory, where they allegedly presented themselves as local motel employees to receive the vaccine.
The Bakers were discovered after being taken to the airport following their vaccination last week in the community of Beaver Creek, situated about a half-hour drive from the Alaska border. ....

A Vancouver couple accused of skipping the line to be vaccinated against COVID-19 will likely be waiting for some time before receiving a second dose.
Former Great Canadian Gaming Corp. CEO Rodney Baker, 55, and his wife Ekaterina Baker, 32, allegedly travelled to Whitehorse from Vancouver, then chartered a plane to the small Yukon village of Beaver Creek where they misrepresented themselves to receive their first dose of the Moderna vaccine.
