Kenny Mascary named first-ever Community Partnerships Manager for Now + There Kenny Mascary named first-ever Community Partnerships Manager for Now + There. BOSTON, MASS .- Kenny Mascary was recently named the first-ever Community Partnerships Manager for Now + There, a Boston-based nonprofit that brings temporary, site-specific public art to all of the city’s neighborhoods. Having a strong background with mission-driven organizations, Mascary will work with the Now + There team to expand the organization’s reach and community impact, developing community-based relationships through public art projects. c“Growing up in Haiti, public art was mostly seen as art that happened, but no one knew where it came from,” said Mascary. “What always captured my attention was the size of the art, it couldn’t be ignored. Or how it meant something significant.”

Foster carers needed for animals who have suffered cruelty

Date Time Foster carers needed for animals who have suffered cruelty Animal lovers are needed to open their hearts and homes to provide temporary care for animals in the centre of cruelty cases as RSPCA Victoria looks to recruit new volunteers for its Protective Custody Foster Care Program. The call for more carers comes as an unprecedented number of animals wait for their cases to be heard as the courts work through a backlog due to COVID-19-related delays. Kris Jones, Community Partnerships Manager at RSPCA Victoria, says that Protective Custody Foster Care is a lifeline for animals who would otherwise spend extended periods of time in RSPCA Victoria shelters. It is the only program of its kind in Victoria and it gives foster carers a unique opportunity to play an active role in the fight against animal cruelty.
