BOSTON, MASS
.- Kenny Mascary was recently named the first-ever Community Partnerships Manager for Now + There, a Boston-based nonprofit that brings temporary, site-specific public art to all of the city’s neighborhoods.
Having a strong background with mission-driven organizations, Mascary will work with the Now + There team to expand the organization’s reach and community impact, developing community-based relationships through public art projects. c“Growing up in Haiti, public art was mostly seen as art that happened, but no one knew where it came from,” said Mascary. “What always captured my attention was the size of the art, it couldn’t be ignored. Or how it meant something significant.”
