Since August 2013, Holmes had been teaching at T.A. Norris Middle School. When first hired, Holmes had been assigned to teacher grade 6-8 English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Math. In September of 2019, Holmes was assigned to the role of Inclusive Education Coach at T.A. Norris Middle School. Since then, Holmes has been attaining leadership skills experience through her position with coordinating various team meetings with staff, students, and parents.
