BERNARDS TWP., NJ The Liberty Corner Fire Company coordinated Monday morning s return of Bernards Township s Memorial Day ceremony by combining an in-person gathering by the Liberty Corner green and a livestream on the fire company s website that was still available for viewing afterward.
The township s usual full-fledged Memorial Day parade was still put on hold for 2021 because of lingering concerns about COVID-19. Nevetheless, a few dozen people gathered on an overcast Monday morning to pause on the holiday weekend to honor those who have given their lives in defense of our nation, as Mayor Janice Fields said to both live and online attendees.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine Scarborough Police are investigating allegations against a doggy daycare in town. This comes after a former employee started a petition to close the Doggy Cottage.
Samantha Larson worked at The Doggy Cottage in Scarbrough for eight months, she said she saw many different kinds of abuse during that time, her mom added she came home crying just about every day.

Samantha Larsen started with picking out her dress, a light pink chiffon gown she could twirl in until the prom ended or she got dizzy, whichever came first.
Next, she got her nails painted the same shade of pink, like cotton candy, and bought a corsage with just the right shade of pink roses. She also found a shawl, some shiny shoes and a clip to pull back her wavy hair.

The evening was set off with a red carpet

Art Photographer Ryan Estremos. Guests were seated in the
luxury auditorium that included a United Cinema’s chef
prepared banquet table.
