Generation Apollo: Coming of age inside America s space race By: CNN

They are the names written in history books: Armstrong, Aldrin, Lovell, Chaffee, Bean, Cernan, Anders, Griffin, Carr. Their stories of NASA s Apollo program in the 1960s and 70s are the stuff of legend and lore.
The telling has mostly come from the astronauts themselves, or members of Mission Control, and occasionally from the astronauts spouses.
But there was another group who had a front-row seat to history. This is the story of Apollo from some of its most wide-eyed observers: the children of those brave Americans who first went into space and those who helped get them there.

(CNN) John Cruise-Wilkins is a man on a mission. Like his late father Reginald before him, he believes there is great beauty to be found beneath an unprepossessing stretch of road in northern Mahe, the main island of the Seychelles.
See, Cruise-Wilkins is a treasure hunter. And his and his father s seven decades worth of research have led them to this spot, where it s thought an 18th century French pirate by the name of Olivier Levasseur left his greatest hoard.
Levasseur, known as La Buse ( The Buzzard ) spent years pillaging his way across this corner of the Indian Ocean before settling on the Seychelles. When he was eventually recognized, arrested and taken to the island of Reunion in 1730, he refused to divulge the location of buried treasure believed to be worth $130 million.
