LAHAD DATU: The port at Palm Oil Industrial Cluster (POIC) Lahad Datu, here, is best left as an independent entity as it envisages a wider role in the development of eastern Sabah.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam expressed support for the port at the Lahad Datu POIC (collectively called POIC Lahad Datu Port), saying the reputed port is the result of some 15 years of development of the 4,400-acre industrial park. ....

Kota Kinabalu: A beauty company was fined RM35,000 by the Sessions Court here, Monday, for having nine types of unregistered products three years ago.
De Blanc Dermatology (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, represented by one of its directors, pleaded guilty before Judge Ummu Kalthom Abdul Samad to committing the offence at 11am on Oct 18, 2018 at its premises on the first floor of Block C, at 88 Market Place, Jalan Pintas here.
The company was found to have two boxes of Huons Ascorbic Acid Inj. 500ml/2ml, five ampoules of Placentex, 23 ampoules of Lidocaine Hydrochloride Injection (VIWIT), eight ampoules of Lidocaine Hydrochloride Injection (Shanghai Xiandai Hasen Pharmaceutical Co. LTD.), 24 ampoules of Adrenaline Hydrochloride Injection, one box of Cindella Inj. I.V, one box of Liporase, a box of Luthione Inj. 1,200mg and one box of Vitamin C Inj., which violated Regulation 7(1)(a) of the Control of Drugs an ....

Kota Kinabalu: The State Government is focused on finding effective and efficient ways to improve the people’s economy already hurt by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We need to resuscitate the local economy. Too many people have lost their jobs, or their wages are cut in half. 
“One of the ways to replace these lost jobs is by expanding existing economies such as supporting the swiftlet bird’s nest industry,” said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey Kitingan

Kota Kinabalu: More Sabah goods will be able to penetrate the China market, said POIC Sabah Sdn Bhd Chairman Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee.
He said this was possible with a recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CAIQTest Innovation (Malaysia) Service Centre (CAIQTest).
The centre, Yong said, would lead to the setting up of a food testing and certification centre in Lahad Datu, where POIC Sabah is developing a regional processing and logistics hub.

Kota Kinabalu: Award winning real estate agency, Property Hub (Sabah) Sdn Bhd won the Sabah Real Estate Firm of the Year award for the fourth consecutive time in 2020.
