It s being put on by Parish Proud, One Acadiana, United Way of Acadiana, UL Lafayette and Republic Services at the intersection of Cameron and University. One nearby store manager says she s so looking forward to the event on January 23, which lasts from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. I m happy because sometimes people just throw their trash in the parking lot and sometimes I pick it up, says Gemma Jackson, manager at Hair Star.
