CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -
A family is desperate for answers after their loved one was found murdered last week in her Chickasha home.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation investigators think Andrea Blankenship, 41, was killed the same day as her neighbors, 67-year-old Leon Pye and his four-year-old granddaughter Kaeos Yates. Authorities said the two were stabbed to death.
Authorities arrested Lawrence Anderson, 42, and confirmed he was connected to the three deaths. Anderson is being held in the Grady County jail but has not been charged by the Grady County District Attorney.
“It will haunt us that that was the last individual she saw before she passed away,” said Brooke Burris-Wofford, Blankenship s cousin. “We’ve lost a piece of our heart we’ll never get back.” ....
