A Dandenong South brewery helped quench some hard-earned thirsts at local RSLs ahead of Anzac Day.
Brick Lane Brewing donated 10 cartons of its Brick Lane Draught to each of six local RSLs in Dandenong, Frankston, Seaford, Cheltenham, Longbeach and Cranbourne.
“We wanted to support our local communities,” founder and managing director Paul Bowker said.
“There’s so many people who have served for us and it was important for us to recognise that and say thanks – by serving them some beers of course.
“It’s a very easy thing for us to grab 100 cases out of the brewery and for our team to drop them off on their way home to some local venues.

This year we will once again miss out on the larger St. Patrick s Day celebrations we know and love. But there are still plenty of smaller celebrations to mark the holiday.
It is hard to believe the pandemic is affecting St. Patrick s Day festivities for the second straight year as some of our big events like the parade in Albany will not be happening. The good news is there will be more going on this year versus last year, and we have a rundown of some fun, low-key things happening for you to go out and check out, or take in from the comfort of your home!

A group of friends have created a lot of beer behind one of their homes. That location inspired a business.
Back Alley Brewing Co. is planned to open in late spring/early summer. It will be the first brewery in Dormont.
Four of the five owners live there and a fifth is close by. Patrick McKinley and his wife, Patricia, collaborated with fellow Dormont residents Jacob Maxwell and Lee Sifford on this venture. Their friend, Cody Hoellerman, is from Pittsburgh’s Brookline neighborhood.

Sheridan, Wyoming: Open spaces and humble graces
17 December 2020
2021 will see the return of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, just in time to celebrate 90 years as the most authentic cowboy experience in the wild west © Sheridan, Wyoming
At first blush, picturesque Sheridan is all archetypal mountain verve and Wyoming vigor, but there is an artistic dynamism and cultural allure here the bellies its cow-town reputation.
Sheridan s ranching roots run centuries deep, but so too does its polo legacy (and connection to the British Crown.) The flagship Sheridan WYO Rodeo draws nearly 30,000 visitors to town every July, while the Sheridan WYO FilmFestival, Brinton Museum and the Whitney Center for the Arts have become artistic touchstones with significant regional cache.Â
